After case selection through number of screening clinics at district and sub district level, camp was started on 13th to 25th October 2000. Over 800 patients were seen from which 101 patients were selected for surgery and the rest of the patients required non surgical conservative care.  The local coordinators of this camp were Professor Pushpa and Dr Srichand. All these procedures performed in three different hospitals, Liaquat Medical College Hospital, Wali Bhai Rajputana Hospital and Isra University Hospital.

a seminar took place at Isra University, Hyderabad where Mr John Kelly and other speakers delivered lectures regarding vvf and other common gynaecological problems. A large number of trainee doctors and senior doctors attended the seminar.
